I can't even express how wonderful Nehama was during the whole experience. I had a lot of questions and she emailed me back so quickly even though she is in Germany and I am in California. I needed my Ketubah ASAP for some personal reasons and she made sure that I got it on the exact day I asked. And it is PERFECT! I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Thank you so much. I highly highly highly recommend this shop!

Nehama was an absolute pleasure to work with. Every time a question arose during the shopping and drafting process, she answered promptly and thoroughly. She was friendly, professional and accommodating. The ketubah arrived right on time and in perfect condition; it looks even more beautiful in person than online! I enthusiastically recommend Nehama and her work to anyone looking for a ketubah!

Nehama was a pleasure to work with and did a fantastic job. She kept the process very collaborative, was very patient with us, and even made Hebrew suggestions which our rabbi appreciated! She made us feel very comfortable and like we were in good hands, which is what you need for such an important item. The ketuba arrived very well packaged and in pristine condition. We would recommend her to anyone!

About NehamaKetubah

Sales 37
On Etsy since 2013

It all began with a wedding....

As a student in Florence Italy, Nehama was preparing to attend the weddings of cousins and friends. For people so dear to her, she wished to contribute to the wedding in the best way she knew- and suggested to illustrate their Ketubah. Thus began a long adventurous journey to the wonderful world of words and images, ancient and new, love and excitement.

Every Ketubah ready for print has been originally painted with love and dedication. Every detail is thought of and each couple gets their well deserved attention and advice to assure they receive the Ketubah they imagined for their special day.

Nehama has experience working with clients from all around the world and her Ketubot have been sent to weddings in Israel, Italy, England, France, Australia, the U.S. and more.

Sizing details

The Ketubah comes in a few sizes. The smallest size is A3 - but please be aware that this size is only recommended for short, one language texts. Long texts will appear in a very small font in this size. The largest size is circa 40x60 cm, but it is possible to order a larger, custom size - please message me for details if you wish to have a larger size print.

In the variation "size and more" please choose the appropriate option for you according to size, with or without gold leaf, and with or without personalization.

Care instructions

Before the wedding:

In order to straighten a Ketubah - the simplest and best solution is to use heavy books (the larger the better). Lay the Ketubah on a clean flat surface and use the paper it was wrapped in, to cover the Ketubah and protect it. Gently unroll the Ketubah- do not flatten it quickly.

The paper is very thick and flexible so it doesn't damage very easily - but a serious fold would be noticeable, so please try to avoid sudden moves or clutching with a few fingers and rather use the whole surface of your hand to "stroke" the paper, the way you would when straightening a bed sheet, for instance.

Care instructions

At the wedding:

I would highly recommend getting a high quality white or off white piece of strong cardboard, wood or taskboard (special modeling cardboard), customizing it to the size of the Ketubah and keeping it attached on the back of it (use gentle masking tape in a few selected corners)- put both together in a see-through nylon protector the size of the Ketubah or bigger.

These two together should keep the ketubah straight and protected while still giving you the possibility to take it out, sign and carry it around.

Most importantly- don't forget the bring a pen to sign the Ketubah (preferably of high quality, in an appropriate matching color.

Contact me if you have specific questions or requests for recommendations.

Care instructions

After the wedding/ at home:

- Try to not touch the gold-leafed parts (although the materials are of high quality and will not come off so easily).

- Avoid extensive direct exposure to the sun (Do not keep it unprotected outside or on a balcony, for example).

- Use a professional for framing to avoid damage to the Ketubah. The Ketubah has a large border area specifically to enhance your framing options.

--- If you have any images of the Ketubah at the wedding or after framing, please don't hesitate to send me an image! please mention if it is OK to share your image further, on my websites, or if you prefer not to.
