Love them! Pattern was easy to understand. I used a hook one size smaller because it was all I had, and I just love how they turned out. I'd love for you to create more wristwarmers patterns!
Come crochet with me...
Hi, I'm Steph, the one with the crochet hook. I am a wife and mother of 2 kids, 2 small barking dogs, 2 bunnies, and a wild mouse that I think might live in our piano. I have at least one crochet project on me at all times (my husband just loooves it when I crochet in public - Ha!) and I've found that crochet hooks really do come in handy for all sorts of things.
If you have ever used a crochet hook for anything including (but not limited to) making little knots with yarn then you are in the right place. I love crochet, have you noticed? I would have granny blankets slung on every chair in my house if my husband would let me. I will stop strangers on the street if they are wearing, carrying, or making anything by hand. (Tip: If you don't want to get approached by the crazy lady pictured right then put your projects away when you're strolling down streets of Exeter, CA!)
In addition to crochet I'm also quite fond of my little people, succulents, knitting, gardening (veggies mostly), little fuzzy animals, quilting (admiring), sewing (I fixed a hole in my shorts!), and of coarse, fondling and hording yarn just because it's amazing.
As you can see, making things and taking care of things by hand is a huge part of my life. I started Twig and String (I'll be honest) so that I could have a somewhat "legitimate" reason to crochet more. Haha, that sounds ridiculous...but it's true. It has transformed with me as my interests and time constraints change and I really like where it is right now. I like being able to offer patterns for something that I made years ago while working on something completely different today. I really don't think that I would be able to do that if it weren't for all the support I've received through Twig & String. Thank you so much for supporting my craft! I really hope that you have fun with me and my family on our crazy adventures in yarn and life!
