Nerdagerie is taking a short break

Note from shop owner It is with great sorrow that I must announce the temporary closing of Nerdagerie. I have taken on a full-time job, and no longer have any free time to tend to my shop, as the process for creating each of these items is incredibly time consuming in order to insure the highest quality product is made.

The shop may re-open in the future if time permits, or if my life plans change - I may be going back to school in the next few years, so it may re-open then.

Once again, I am horribly sorry that I must close the shop. It brought me great happiness to make items for fans that are just as passionate about games as I am.

Thank you,
Lindsay

About

Everything Geek Chic

I started this shop out as a Pokemon Badge shop with my fiance, Derek, but it quickly expanded to include hair ribbons, magnets and other such things. My goal is to create accessories for the fashionably inclined nerd.

I realized one evening that there really wasn't too much merch specifically for women gamers. I wanted a certain t-shirt, but it only came in men's cuts (which are obviously not very well-fit for us ladies). I like to display my fandom loudly, so I started making these pokemon badges to put on my bags (and more specifically when I was working on a gym leader Elesa cosplay, and wanted a bolt badge for my purse). Right now I'm really focusing in hair bows, pins. badges, earrings, necklaces and charm bracelets but am looking to expand into headbands and other accessories. I'm also very into seamstress-ery lately, so I might try a go at making some of those shirts tailored for men into cute little dresses.

Keep checking out my store to see what crazy ideas I come up next!
