Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Michelle and I am the owner and sole operator at Nerdartistry. I love to have fun and I love being creative. Some people might say sarcasm is my middle name. I have a nerve disorder called Essential Tremors. I don’t see it as a handicap but as something that makes me unique. My mother taught me to sew when I was ten and have been sewing ever since. Sewing and being creative has always been my happy place. In 2019, I made the decision to stop working in corporate America and start sewing professionally.

One of the biggest obstacles I’ve run into is finding fabric I like to sew with or unique fabric that everybody and their brother doesn’t already own. I love all things horror, fantasy and punk. I know I’m not the only seamstress who runs into this problem.

In October of 2020, I decided to start my own custom fabric line with fabric designs that I love. I work with artists to create an original piece of artwork then I create a collection around it. All of the designs I release are 100% original and each collection has been copyrighted. My collections are based around horror, punk and fantasy.
