Just got these awesome spider spiderweb place card holders...need to be cleaned but they had a long distance to travel. Delicate and intricate work...beautiful craftsmanship....

Folkloric, Germanic, Gallic, poetic, gothic, mythic, strange, beautiful, wonderful pieces found and foraged from the deepest darkest corners of Europe

The concept of Never-Never Traders was born of the passions and obsessions of a former Museum curator, artist, jewellery designer and a life-long collector and researcher of all things strange and significant - even in the smallest possible way.

The name "Never-Never Traders" was chosen in reference to my Australian roots and is the name of a vast, remote area of the Australian Outback, as described in a poem by Barcroft Boake "Where the Dead Men Lie" . Life in the Never Never of the Northern Territory was also described by Jeannie Gunn in two books including the classic Australian novel "We of the Never Never".

So, thank you for visiting my shop. Rest assured our service is the highest, our items photographed with professionalism and our descriptions as accurate as possible. We also strive, where possible, to provide all available information about all our items' significance and provenance.

Welcome. Here are some things you may like to know before purchasing.

At this time we only accept paypal payments. We are based in Australia so checks and bank transfers are not an option.

We will happily reserve a listing for you for 3 days. After the 3rd day we will remove the reserve listing and the item goes back on sale. if you need more time, please convo before the 3rd day.

We can create a LAYAWAY on an item with non-refundable deposit. We would usually ask about a quarter down payment and completion within 2 months. But we are happy to discuss other layaway options with you if needed. All payments on a layaway are non-refundable. (see refund policy for execptions).
We ship usually with a day or two after purchase, but we will attempt to ship the day of purchase if possible. To keep shipping costs low, we wrap and fold up items to smallest size for shipping, pack carefully and well and use recycled shipping materials. We ship quickly and have not had any problems shipping overseas. Your duty and vat import tax is your sole responsibility and is in addition to shipping and purchase price. Check with your customs if concerned. We always ship registered or trackable, but remember customs can still hold several days and postage costs will be much higher. Im happy to mark items as a "gift".
Refunds and Exchanges
We do NOT accept returns on vintage items unless they have been described incorrectly or a fault has not been cleary listed. Please read the description carefully, look at our photos as they are very much part of the description and take note of the measurements. All vintage and antique textiles and objects have inherent wear and minor flaws, but these will be noted. But PLEASE ask questions if in any doubt BEFORE purchasing. We will nor refund for the following reasons:
*I just decided to change my mind
*because you could not really afford it
*did not measure with care and it does not fit well
*did not take to local alterations for custom tailor

We carefully document condition of all items at the time of listing and again at time of shipping!

Of course if we grossly misrepresent an item we would take full responsibility for correct delivery or refund upon return of item sent. We would also cover all postage return fees if we sent incorrect item. We pay close attention to detail and handle each order with care. If more than 7-10 days (Europe) or 3 weeks (US & other countries) have passed with no arrival, let us know immediately for tracking.
