Beautiful! In the process of moving north and into my first owned home with my fiance. Id take additional pictures, because they are even prettier in person. Unique and yet classic. Chose this pair due to its design and dragonfly adornments. Love that it comes with an oil dish for dipping breads, etc. Will definitely come back to purchase additional items in the future.

Today I made some gravy boats and sponge holders for a gallery but you can get them here in my online shop.
There are only 6 earring bowls left in my shop before Christmas. These make great gifts for college students.

About

About New Day Pottery

My journey into clay began with my love of all things beautiful (art, music, nature). After taking a pottery class in 2004 I fell in love with creating beautiful things out of clay. Although in the first few years I took a few pottery classes, I have further developed my work through attending many demonstrations and workshops through the Carolina Claymatters Pottery Guild, attending the North Carolina Potters Conference in 2010,2011 and 2012 and the week long workshop at John C. Campbell Folk School in December 2013. Most of my development has been through experimentation.

In 2008 I started selling my work at art and pottery festivals where my work was done primarily on the potter’s wheel. My work was functional and very colorful. Then in December 2012 after taking the class at the John C. Campbell Folk School with Sylvia Coppola, I now enjoy making most of my pieces with a combination of slab and wheel techniques. The new pieces are more decorative, though some remain functional.

My work has been exhibited at various juried shows:
2013 - Mint Hill Arts - Bill and Ann Litaker Memorial Show - 1st place (3D) - Whimsy
2013 - Falling Rivers Gallery - Summer Art Explosion - 1st place (3D) - Butterfly Cruet
2013 - Falling Rivers Gallery - Members Only - honorable mention - Teapot on Fire
2011 - Mint Hill Arts - Juried Spring Competition - honorable mention for my tall coffee pot
2009 and 2010 I exhibited at the Wilkes Art Gallery in North Wilkesboro
2010 I exhibited at the Tyler White Gallery in Greensboro
