Here at New Purpose Design we love re-purposing old wood and steel and giving it a new life. Many of our pieces are unique and add that elegant and quirky touch to your home, office or living space.
So many interesting shapes can be found in items regarded as scrap, we often use reclaimed car parts, bike parts and pieces of farm machinery. It makes our work exciting and rewarding, constantly looking for new and unusual ways to use these discarded items.
The reclaimed wood we use is mainly from old pallets and floorboards. The nail marks and ware from it's previous life adds to it's interest. We can provide a variety of finishes including, scorched wood, antique pine, natural (untreated) natural with clear wax and oak finish.
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We want you to be as happy as we are with our products so if for any reason you are not happy with your item please get in touch straight away and we will sort it out.

For our larger items we use a courier service, we use a 24hr courier service for our larger items, all items will need to be signed for on delivery. This service is offered for the UK only. The prices quoted on each large item are for delivery within England. There is an extra charge for the Scottish Highlands and Islands, channel Islands and Ireland.
We will find the best price for these areas for you, just send a message with your postcode.
Our smaller items will be dispatched by Royal Mail recorded delivery.
All our items are thoroughly checked before they leave our workshop. We make a point of packaging our items extremely well so no damage in transit should occur.
However these things can happen so please check the outside of your packaging when it arrives. If the parcel has rips or any damage please get the driver to make a note of this before you accept the parcel. (Simply writing - packaging damaged)
The contents may be perfectly fine but just in case the damaged packaging needs recording which makes it much easier to make a claim.
Making a claim is our responsibility, if your item is damaged due to delivery we will sort this out and the item will be repaired and sent back to you.
