This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services.

Data I collect
I collect information about you when you place an order for purchasing my products. Personal information may include your name, billing/shipping address, payment information and email address. I also collect information when you enter competitions, send direct messages to me on social media and provide feedback. Additionally, I collect information about you when booking a workshop, specifically your mobile number. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order, for example), if you contact me directly.

What I use your data for
I collect information about you to process and despatch your order. In processing your order, I may disclose your personal information to, and also use information from credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies, if required by law.
I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as Royal Mail. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
Your card information is not held by me and is collected by third party processors who specialise in secure online processing of credit/debit card transactions.
Email subscription is captured through a third party, MailChimp, to provide me with data to help me improve my services and for communication purposes for instance, showcasing new products. Your consent will always be obtained first for receiving email marketing from us and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Nicola Davis Crafts is hosted on both Weebly and Etsy giving them, their affiliates and providers access to your personal information to improve their services and products. By using my website you give your consent to this Privacy Policy, Weebly and Etsy to collect, process and transfer all data for the purpose of helping in the performance of my services.

Data Retention
I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, UK tax law requires me to keep your personal information (that is, your name, billing/shipping address and email address) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.

Your rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information:
The right to access and request a copy of your personal information which I hold about you;
The right to request that I correct any personal information if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date;
The right to request your personal information is erased where it is no longer necessary for me to retain it;

The right to request that I provide you with your personal information and where possible, to transmit this to another personal information controller (known as the right to data portability);
The right where there is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of your personal information, to request a restriction is placed on further processing;

The right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office.
