The evolution of my business

I grew up in a home with an entrepreneurial graphic designer father, and parents who enjoyed antiques. When I was little and at my grandmother's home, I would sift through all her old buttons, try on her 1940's costume jewelry and shoes, and learned to sew under her expert experience. I've always had a love and appreciation of old things. I was pretty sure at some point I wanted to own my own business.

In 2008, Pink Postcard was born. It started out as home decor blog, and became a vintage decor business. I grew through doing local markets and selling at a brick and mortar. In order to branch out and be able to grow with my brand, I rebranded under the name, Noble Vintage, in 2016.

I love the variety of selling online and at regional shows. It is so fun to meet my buyers from all walks of life.

My favorites are vintage pieces from the 1940's era, European antiques, religious relics, industrial, and farmhouse decor.
In 2016, I had an amazing opportunity to visit France as part of a tour group under stylist, Heather Bullard. That helped me have a bigger goal of incorporating travel into my business, and was a boost to my photography and styling of vintage items.

Returns and exchange details
Returns are accepted only if something is significantly different than advertised. Please read description before purchasing to avoid issues of misunderstanding. Shipping charges are not refundable.
If an item is sent to you and is not deliverable, and I receive the item as return to sender / undeliverable, you may have the item resent to you at additional shipping cost(s). Mailed / shipped items that are not deliverable cannot have shipping charges refunded. Orders that are cancelled due to a return to sender issue will have a 15% restocking fee. Thank you for your understanding.

UPDATE ON INSURANCE POLICY SEPTEMBER 11, 2018: Due to an unfortunate transaction where a minor was allowed to purchase one of my items without adult supervision, all items from now on will be shipped with insurance- regardless of the item - to cover my liability.

Claims for USPS items are handled through Shipsurance, not USPS. When a claim is approved, I can either send you the refund via Paypal, or a check. Fed Ex claims are handled directly through their claims process. I will do my very best to keep you informed through the process.

**It is imperative that you do not dispose of the original packaging if it arrives damaged. Please take photos of the damaged item, the packaging, and any damage to the box.** Please contact me ASAP if your item arrives damaged, and hold onto all packaging and pieces until the claim is closed.

I do my best to help you with the shipping process, including issues that may arise. I take care to package all items as securely as possible. Things happen though, and I am unable to predict how a package is handled once it is out of my hands.
I appreciate your patience and understanding as I work through the claim process on your behalf. It normally takes 5-7 business days for claims to be approved / processed.
Payment
I accept all credit cards and Paypal payments. If you have a reserve item in my shop, payment is due within 24 hours of the listing going live. If payment is not made by then, the item will be made available to all shoppers.
Shipping
I generally ship USPS, but am happy to ship Fed Ex if you need it there by a certain date. I also ship larger items via Fed Ex, to keep costs down.
Furniture items are shipped with Fed Ex on smaller pieces and via freight shippers for larger / heavier pieces.
Furniture pieces will take a bit more time for packaging and arranging a shipping method, but I will keep you informed of your time frame.

If you'd like a quote on shipping before purchasing, I am also able to help you with that.
In general, I ship within 24 hours of purchase and payment. I will not ship unless payment is posted, so keep that in mind if you have a deadline. In the case of an emergency or inclement weather, I will do my very best to let you know it there are any delays.

For large furniture pieces, please note that not all items can be delivered & placed directly in your home. You can expect that most shipping companies with deliver curbside or to the exterior of your home. Please arrange for extra help to move into your home if the shipping company cannot do so for you.

Please, PLEASE make sure you read my listing descriptions for important details on vintage items. It is not fair to me as a seller if you are simply looking at the photos and then disappointed with an item because you skipped the description before ordering. I do my very best to be as detailed as possible when writing and shooting my listings.

Vintage is not perfect. It's special! It means you are getting an item that has been well loved, used and has a history behind it unlike anything you would buy today. There is almost always some patina, or character that will not be like an item from a chain store. :) The quality of construction will be unmatched to most new items today, even with dings, rust, cracks, etc. This is what makes it special and unique. If you're not into that, you're probably not in to my stuff.
