About

A dream come true of working from home, using my creativity, shopping, and sharing what I know in my blog and business

It all started in a hospital room a few years ago. I was visiting a family member, and was once again reading through "What Color Is Your Parachute". My sister in laws asked what I was reading.
I told them I was trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up.
One of them said to me, "You should start a webpage! You're so creative; you should share all of your decorating, gardening and cooking projects!" Sounded like fun, but I had no clue how to start a webpage!
A short time later, Pink Postcard was born.
I discovered that I enjoy sharing ideas of my own decor on my blog. It's been fun to show the process of updating our home with my vintage finds.
In February 2016, I rebranded under the name Noble Vintage.

I still wanted to make money from home though, so in 2011, a local holiday fair was wanting vendors and I decided to give it a shot. I didn't have a lot of product, but I sold the majority of what I had. A short time later I ventured to Etsy. I've had a lot of fun seeing what people like, and it is very satisfying to sell my treasures.

Eventually, I expanded into a local shop called Aunt Bee's House, selling larger furniture pieces, and even more treasures.
I love the variety of selling online, locally, and at regional shows. It is so fun to meet my buyers from all different walks of life.

My loves are vintage pieces from the 1940's era, European antiques, religious relics, industrial, and farmhouse decor.
In 2016, I had an amazing opportunity to visit France as part of a tour group under stylist, Heather Bullard. That helped me have a bigger goal of incorporating travel into my business, and was a boost to my photography and styling of vintage items.

Being an online shop owner, blogger, and having a brick and mortar space - all which need to be updated regularly - has been a challenge. I really love what I am doing though, and it is a dream come true!

If you'd like to see more of the day to day stuff that goes on with Noble Vintage, you can follow my blog www.noblevintage.com, or my Facebook page for updates on new items and projects. I also share updates on local shows that I am selling at. Want to see what is inspiring me? You can also follow me on Pinterest!

One of my goals is to inspire other people to not be afraid of doing what you love. Don't be afraid to try. Sometimes you have to take the leap of faith and believe in you, and what you do. Dream big, work hard, and believe in yourself, even if no one else does.

I really appreciate your support of my business!

Returns and exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Returns are accepted only if something is significantly different than advertised. Please read description before purchasing to avoid issues of misunderstanding. Shipping charges are not refundable.

It is up to the buyer to purchase insurance during the check out process at time of purchase if you would like to file a claim with the carrier for refunds on shipping. If insurance is not purchased, shipping charges cannot be refunded.
FURNITURE ITEMS are shipped with insurance, and will be included in shipping charges.

**It is imperative that you do not dispose of the original packaging if it arrives damaged. Please take photos of the damaged item, the packaging, and any damage to the box.** USPS will not allow the damage item to be shipped back to the seller if you are wanting to file a claim. It is up to the buyer to return the damaged item with the packaging to the local post office / shipping carrier for claims. I'm here to help as much as possible on my end, but it's up to the buyer to take the item in to the carrier for shipping claims.

I do my best to help you with the shipping process, including issues that may arise. I take care to package all items as securely as possible. Things happen though. So please understand that insurance will help you in the long run.
Payment
I accept all credit cards and Paypal payments. If you have a reserve item in my shop, payment is appreciated within 24 hours of the listing going live. If payment is not made by then, the item will be made available to all shoppers. I do not charge sales tax on Etsy.
Shipping
I generally ship USPS, but am happy to ship Fed Ex if you need it there by a certain date. I also ship larger items via Fed Ex, to keep costs down.
Furniture items are shipped with Fed Ex on smaller pieces and via freight shippers for larger / heavier pieces.
Furniture pieces will take a bit more time for packaging and arranging a shipping method, but I will keep you informed of your time frame.

The same policies regarding insurance apply here as they do to USPS, although Fed Ex has an initial automatic coverage for the value of the item (i.e., what you paid for here) up to $100. If the item is more than $100, please consider purchasing insurance. It really is worth it, should something go wrong with your order.

If you'd like a quote on shipping before purchasing, I am also able to help you with that.
In general, I ship within 24 hours of purchase and payment. I will not ship unless payment is posted, so keep that in mind if you have a deadline. In the case of an emergency or inclement weather, I will do my very best to let you know it there are any delays.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please, PLEASE make sure you read my listing descriptions for important details on vintage items. It is not fair to me as a seller if you are simply looking at the photos and then disappointed with an item because you skipped the description before ordering. I do my very best to be as detailed as possible when writing and shooting my listings.

Vintage is not perfect. It's special! It means you are getting an item that has been well loved, used and has a history behind it unlike anything you would buy today. There is almost always some patina, or character that will not be like an item from Home Goods. :) The quality of construction will be unmatched to most new items today, even with dings, rust, cracks, etc. This is what makes it special and unique. If you're not into that, you're probably not in to my stuff.
