This is the second bag I have purchased from this vendor. The first bag worked perfectly for my daughter's preschool bag, so I wanted my second daughter to have one too. They are cute, durable, reversible, and easy to wash. I contemplated going up to the large size. I stayed with the medium, because it is just the right size for my daughter to carry herself. I would buy from her again!

For the love of handmade

The idea to start up Noby Designs came in the summer of 2011. I'd been looking for the perfect preschool tote for my soon to be 3 year old. I had very specific wants and needs for his tote in mind, and couldn't find what I was looking for anywhere.

In my head, I'd envisioned a personalized canvas tote with my son's name appliqued on the front, a fun lining on the inside, and it had to be reversible.

I searched everywhere and found either personalized canvas totes or reversible bags made with fun printed fabrics, but nothing with both features combined. So, I ended up designing and sewing his bag on my own. Not only did my son love his tote, but did others!

I was hooked on making totes and quickly sewed more for family and friends. With a little persuasion and encouragement from my husband, Noby Designs was born later that fall!!

Over the next few years, both the size of our household and the selection of items available in the shop have grown, but one thing hasn't changed... I still love what I do and look forward to bringing a little bit of handmade from my home to yours!
