Photography fills me with gratitude

Hello there! My name is Carla Noriega, Nori for short. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, but have been living in NY since 1995. You can say I have the heart of a New Yorker and the soul of a Boricua.

I started shooting at 12 years old and have been shooting ever since. Everything from nightlife to weddings and newborn photographs, but it's really when I'm just shooting for myself that I'm at my happiest. It’s a place of peace and tranquility for me. I can be still, and marvel at the simplest of moments. At the beauty of the unnoticed. At the art of shadows and textures. It fills me with gratitude and positivity, and it's my biggest hope that my images bring the same feeling of place and peace to whoever buys them.

I otherwise spend my days earning a living in the advertising world and traveling and experiencing as much as I can of this crazy wild beautiful thing we call life.
