I loved the ease and thorough explanation of this pattern. I'm new to Tunisian crochet, so I appreciated her attention to details . I did use a heavier gauge yarn (bulky) than the pattern calls for, which made it a little more challenging. But my husband loves his new hat, which is very warm!

In The Beginning...

It started with yarn, hook and curiosity. After learning to crochet the basic stitches, how to read a pattern and making more items for myself than I could wear in one lifetime I became curious to see if I could create my own patterns. My creativity and passion for crochet developed from there. I love the challenge of trying to create something that exists only in my head and have it come to life with a simple hook and skein of yarn.
To set myself apart from other designers I create my finished items with real wool that is exclusively purchased from Canadian yarn dyers. Canada has so much talent and I want to showcase our artisans with the added benefit of supporting fellow Canadian small business owners. Through this process I have had the chance to meet in person and virtually some incredibly talented women from all across Canada.
