Der Workshop entstand aus Liebe zum Schreiben. Jedes Mal, wenn die Auswahl eines neuen Notizbuchs, Tagebuchs, Planers eine Ewigkeit vor einem Regal in einem Papiergeschäft dauerte (weil einer ein perfektes Papier, aber ein schlechtes Cover hatte, hatte ein anderes ein schönes Cover, aber schreckliche Linien im Inneren).
Schließlich kam die Idee, ein Notizbuch zu nähen, das alle Erwartungen erfüllt und perfekt zu seinem Besitzer passt. Innerhalb von zwei Jahren wurde meine Werkstatt so gut, dass ich beschloss, meine Arbeit mit der Welt zu teilen und im Juli 2015 das Geschäft eröffnete. Ich bin immer noch erstaunt und bewundere, dass es immer noch viele Leute gibt, die von Hand schreiben und es in außergewöhnlichen Notizbüchern tun wollen.
Es ist gut, von schönen Objekten umgeben zu sein. Vor allem, wenn sie uns jeden Tag begleiten. Heute, wo alles in großem Maßstab und in Tausenden von Kopien produziert wird, ist es unbezahlbar, die eine Sache einzigartig und von Anfang bis Ende von Hand gefertigt zu haben, mit viel Fleiß, Engagement und Herz.

The workshop was created out of love for writing. Every time selection of a new notebook, diary, planner took an eternity in front of a shelf in a paper store (because one had a perfect paper but bad cover, another had a beautiful cover but horrible lines inside).
Finally, there came the idea of sewing a notebook that will fulfill all expectations and will be perfectly suited to its owner. Within two years my workshop became so good that I decided to share my work with the world and in July 2015 opened the business. I am still amazed and I admire that there are still many people who are handwritting and want to do it in exceptional notebooks.
It is good to be surrounded by beautiful objects. Especially if they accompany us every day. Today, when everything is produced on mass scale and in thousands of copies, it is priceless to have the one thing, unique and made from beginning to end by hand, with a great deal of diligence, commitment and heart.
