5 out of 5 starsI ordered this as a gift for my friend who loves snails and woodland motifs! She was thrilled to receive it! It’s absolutely adorable. The shop owner even hand-wrote my little gift message … which I offered in not-great German. She really went above and beyond!

5 out of 5 starsThis beautiful little print came quickly, and the quality of the print is gorgeous! The print is so crisp and the pinecone is rendered so beautifully. I'm thrilled with this piece!

Why did I start this printmaking project?
I have been living in Asheville for ten years now. Being here, surrounded by all this raw and unbridled talent, has cultivated my own creativity and given me the confidence to share my projects with my friends. And strangers, too.
Since Nate and I started dating in 2003, we've traveled as much as we could manage. We've recently added to our family - little boy Jasper (2017) and little girl Opal (2018). Respectfully visiting and learning about different cultures is kind of an obsession of ours and we can't wait to share it with our kids. To show them the world and let them learn about it through a global lens - and through the eyes of others. To allow them to adopt their favorite customs and traditions from each new and wondrous stop along the way.
In my own old fashioned way I like to share what we've seen and learned on our travels with our friends and family. I've been making cards and postcards for them for years. I've decided to step up my game and put some up for sale. I grew up sailing and subsequently teaching on Lake Erie so my work started with a distinctly nautical theme. Didn't take long for me to incorporate my love for Appalachia. And the ideas took off in every direction from there. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as we do.
I created a Facebook page and an Instagram page to document my process. My journey. My travels. Cheers!
