Soy Kim Syvertson-Utesch, una artista digital y artesana arraigada en la belleza salvaje de Minnesota. Mi trabajo se inspira profundamente en la naturaleza: colimbos en lagos tranquilos, auroras boreales danzando en el cielo y el ritmo cambiante de las estaciones. Siempre me han atraído el color y los estados de ánimo, incluso de niña dibujando animales y paisajes en papel borrador. Empecé como artista gráfica a finales de los 70, cuando los diseños se hacían a mano y la creatividad significaba usar tinta en los dedos.
Esa base moldeó mi forma de ver y construir historias visuales hoy. Con el tiempo, mi amor por el arte evolucionó hacia una pasión por la creación digital, donde puedo explorar la imaginación sin límites. Ya sea dibujando de memoria o experimentando con herramientas de inteligencia artificial, cada pieza nace de un sentimiento que quiero compartir. I'm Kim Syvertson-Utesch, a digital artist and crafter rooted in the wild beauty of Minnesota. My work is deeply inspired by nature—loons on quiet lakes, northern lights dancing across the sky, and the shifting rhythm of the seasons. I’ve always been drawn to color and mood, even as a kid sketching animals and landscapes on scrap paper. I got my start as a graphic artist in the late 1970s, back when layouts were done by hand and creativity meant getting your fingers inky.
That foundation shaped how I see and build visual stories today. Over time, my love for art evolved into a passion for digital creation, where I can explore imagination without limits. Whether I’m sketching from memory or experimenting with AI tools, each piece starts with a feeling I want to share. My gallery is a mix of dreamscapes, nature reflections, and emotional snapshots—art that invites you to pause, wonder, and connect. Approaching 70, I am just getting started on this next beautiful adventure.
