Novapsis is Back
After opening Novapsis during the second half of 2012, the shop went largely on hold as I focused on other projects. I've finally gotten back into jewelry designs and have created new Novapsis pieces for the end of 2016/beginning of 2017. Novapsis is a Nebraska-based business, and I collect sales tax for all purchases shipped within the State of Nebraska.
CURRENT PRODUCTION TIME
I am currently able to produce most items within two business days* of order receipt, and orders will ship on the following business day after production. Business days are Monday through Friday excluding USPS holidays. For example, items ordered on Friday will be produced on Monday and Tuesday then shipped on Wednesday. If you order multiple items in the same transaction, everything will ship together at the longest production time.
*A few items require additional time to make, so please check the "Production Time" information in the "Item Details" section of your listing to see if additional product time is specified.
Orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail and, shipping time is typically 3-5 days*. Once your order has shipped you will receive a tracking number for your reference. Since tracking information is occasionally not updated until after delivery, please refer to your shipment confirmation email for the mailing date. Please note that all orders include delivery confirmation, and I cannot be responsible for lost packages once they are marked as "delivered" by USPS. Please be sure your address information is correct to avoid any such issues. You may track your package at http://www.usps.com or from your Etsy account.
*For domestic orders that are not delivered within 21 business days, USPS will consider them lost, but prior to that time, they will consider orders to be in transit and not attempt further tracking.
Shipping upgrades for US deliveries are available at checkout. Priority Mail is available for an additional $5 per shipment and typically takes 2-3 business days, although the Post Office does not guarantee this timeframe. Priority Mail Express on the other hand is delivered within 2 business days (often overnight) and the delivery time is guaranteed through a rebate of $20 if the package arrives late (Priority Mail Express is available for an additional $20 per shipment).
At this time, I am only shipping to US locations.
Refunds and Exchanges
• Returns need to made within 2 weeks of your receipt date.
• "DO NOT REMOVE" tags must be intact.
• Customer is responsible for the costs and the product for return shipping (mailing with a tracking number is a good idea), and the original shipping cost is not refundable.
• Returns may not be available for some custom requests.

We've all had an online shopping experience where something didn't look quite as we'd expected from the photos (e.g. 1 inch is shorter than we thought it would be, brown is darker than expected, etc.). I've been there too, so I do offer customers a "return for convenience" option. As a very small business, I cannot refund shipping costs since those costs are paid to others for logistics and fees, but I am able to refund the actual price of the item if the customer is willing to pay for the safe arrival of the item to me, and I am able to resell the returned item.
To be able to resell the returned item, I need to receive it back within 2 weeks of the original delivery date (many items are meant to sell in specific months/seasons), and it needs to be in an unused condition. To allow me to assure my customers that they are purchasing new and unused items, some items are delivered with a "DO NOT REMOVE" tag. For items with this tag, once it is removed, I can no longer accept the return since I can no longer resell the item as new and unused.
As soon as I get the return, you will receive an email notification from Etsy letting you know a credit is being processed for the amount of the item returned. Of course if you have any questions about your specific situation, please just send me a convo.
If you have a custom order, I may not be able to resell the item if returned, and I will let you know before I fill the order if I cannot accept a return.
