So Much Fabric, So Little Time
Seamos realistas, me encanta la tela. Todas las alcantarillas y quilters parecen tener esto en común.
Comencé a coser a los 9 años en 4-H. A través de los años, los líderes de 4-H y otros mentores de costura como mi madre, Hazel, me ayudaron a convertirme en una alcantarilla consumada. En mis años de joven adulto tenía un negocio de alteraciones. He cosido para los clientes, así como hecho mi propia ropa y ropa para mis tres hijos pequeños. Incluso hice algunos "trajes de ocio" para mi maravilloso esposo. ¡A mi familia le encanta mirar fotos de esos!
Diseño mis propios patrones. Es muy importante hacer manteles, corredores de mesa y otros artículos acolchados en el tamaño correcto. Me esfuerzo por hacer los artículos acolchados más duraderos, utilizables y lavables. Aquí en ETSY tengo múltiples clientes de retorno que también han dado comentarios maravillosos.
El acolchado de movimiento libre se realiza en mi máquina doméstica Pfaff, así como en el brazo largo Gammill Vision. Mi acolchado se hace a mano alzada, no programado. Las encuadernaciones se cosen a máquina y se cosen en la zanja para un aspecto limpio en lugar de coser la parte superior.

Let's face it, I love fabric. All sewers and quilters seem to have this in common.
I began sewing at age 9 in 4-H. Through the years, 4-H leaders and other sewing mentors such as my mother, Hazel, helped me to become an accomplished sewer. In my young adult years I owned an alterations business. I have sewn for customers as well as making my own clothing and clothes for my three young children. I even made a few "leisure suits" for my wonderful husband. My family loves to look at pictures of those!
I design my own patterns. It is very important to make placemats, table runners and other quilted items in the right size. I strive to make the most durable, usable and washable quilted items. Here on ETSY I have multiple return customers that have also given wonderful feedback.
Free motion quilting is done on my Pfaff domestic machine as well as on the Gammill Vision long arm. My quilting is done free hand, not programmed. Bindings are sewn on by machine and stitched in the ditch for a neat look rather than topstitching.
