About

I dream of beads. True Story.

All of my designs are handmade originals. I use Semi-precious Stones, Sterling Silver, Bali beads, Freshwater Pearls, Swarovski Crystals, Lampworked Glass, Fused Glass, Czech Glass, Amber and anything else I can think of to create jewelry that inspires joy. I get my design ideas from the Earth itself, from the hills that surround my home to the sunset that ends my day, there is color and inspiration in every moment. The biggest inspiration of all though is the family I share my life with.

The Nut House Creations is nestled in the Finger Lakes of NYS and was founded in 2000 in anticipation of my first son in 2001. It is a way for me to add extra income to support my family, while being creative at the same time. Not only is my jewelry a way for me to help support my family as a single mother, it is an amazing way to decompress after crazy days at work & with the kids! In the past I have sold my jewelry at Charlottesville, VA City Market, and at a number of Arts & Crafts festivals throughout Central VA. In 2008 I won 2nd Place for Best in Show at Apple Days Fall Festival in Waynesboro, Virginia. The Nut House has relocated to New York, and I am now selling mostly online, but will soon be found at local events! I will keep you posted when I am attending them.

Thanks for taking the time to read a bit about me and my family. I love making Jewelry and I hope that my jewels find their way into your life to bring you as much joy as they bring me.

Questions about your order?
Please if you have any problems with your order.
Delivery conformation and the tracking code both help to ensure that your package arrives safely. I have never lost a package.

If your purchase arrives damaged, we can talk about it when the time comes. I have only ever had 1 item arrive damaged and it was quickly replaced. I will need your damaged items in my hands before replacing it.
Payment
Payment is due when order is placed.
Shipping
Everything listed here is already made and will be shipped within 2-5 business days of receiving payment.

Shipping is $5.00 for the first item and .25 cents for each item after that.

Delivery confirmation is included in the price of shipping.

Insurance is Optional, but I am not and can not be responsible for items after they are shipped. Once I ship the item, it is in the hands of the Post Office to get your shipment to you. In the freakishly rare event a package is lost, I will work with you, and the Post Office to file a legal claim to try to find your package. In all of my (very, very few) cases, a lost package is kicking around somewhere and after some time it turns up. That is why Delivery Confirmation is so great, it tells us both when your package has left the hands of the mail carrier :)
Additional policies and FAQs
I accept wholesale orders for large amounts. Contact me for more information.

I am super easy to work with, probably because I love what I do. Also, my kids tell me I rock, it feels pretty great to believe them.
