I received this very quickly. I made these for my granddaughter's wedding and they look great. She is very happy with them.
I think my favorite! Such a striking blue color.
Beautiful woven towel- Love the colors and feel of it!
Kate Kilgus, New Hampshire Artisan
Hi! I'm Kate Kilgus. I am a handweaver by profession and began my tenure with Etsy to sell my handwoven items.
My handwoven housewares and fine woven wearable accessories can be found throughout the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Africa. As a juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen, my work is available through the League's Fine Craft Gallery shops.
Many of my earliest Etsy clients were brides-to-be. About five years ago, a bride contacted me about my handwoven ivory lace flowergirl cone (check out the photograph above); she asked if I could "come up with something more rustic." After much tinkering with paper patterns, time at the sewing machine, and experimenting with various grades of fabric, I created my first burlap pew cone.
The sewing patterns for my burlap pew cones have been purchased by brides (and a small number of grooms) around the world since 2010. My clients have the satisfaction of crafting something pretty, unique, and useful for their celebrations. In addition to this, they experience the distinct pleasure of having beautiful decorations at their weddings without breaking the bank.
I am proud to be an independent artisan in New England and remain committed to honoring the traditions of the craftsmen who came before me. Thank you for supporting fine American craft.
Be well, friends.

Additional policies and FAQs
I will try to accommodate rush orders for multiple burlap pew cone requests (i.e. more than 2 cones). However, a custom rush order requires me to alter my work schedule and prevents me from working on orders that have been submitted in a timely fashion. Clients who submit a custom request with less than 10 working/business days from the desired completion date will incur a rush order fee. An additional 50% on top of the total cost of your purchase will be added to your order. Example: Client requests 4 burlap cones to be completed in less than 10 working/business days. Regular price = $40 + $20 rush order fee = $60 + shipping. Expedited shipping fees are the client's responsibility. Please contact me with any questions regarding your request. Thank you!
