Memory Keeping Simplified.

After my first child was born, I started blogging and freelance writing about parenthood - I loved sharing about my entry into the world of motherhood, but I was a creative and designer at heart.

At some point, I decided to open an Etsy shop; I had a history in graphic design and over the years had amassed quite a selection of birthday party invites and birth announcements created for myself and friends/family, so I figured I might as well try to sell them. To my surprise, people actually bought stuff from me… after my first few sales, I realized, "Hey, I like this! This is what I want to do."

It wasn’t until I created my first baby book while pregnant with my third child that things really took off. People bought into the concept – a simple baby book that wasn’t full of pointless information and would never be completed because it was just TOO much. From that point on, simplicity became the core of my brand.

I sell notebooks, invitations, stationery and memory books for the mom who wants to simplify; for the mom who needs to quickly print cute party invites because she forgot that her kid’s birthday was in a week (yeah, I’ve done it too); for the mom who needs to buy an easy gift for a girlfriend or niece or nephew; for the mom who wants to preserve memories, but doesn’t have a whole lot of time to devote to it.

Over the years, I have landed wholesale accounts for my memory books and expanded my selection of paper products to include notebooks and stationery for kids, along with some specialty items that you won't find anywhere else!

Due to the nature of the items I sell, the more time my products spend in the mail, the more they tend to get bent or damaged on the corners. By accepting returns, it is more than likely I will receive a damaged item back. For this reason, I AM ONLY ABLE TO OFFER REFUNDS LESS A 20% RESTOCKING FEE. This is non-negotiable.

Unfortunately I DO NOT accept returns on personalized orders, which includes baby books with custom covers.

To return your order:
If you are unhappy with your order and wish to return it for a refund less a 20% restocking fee, please contact me first for approval and return shipping address. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Please follow these guidelines for return carefully, or your return will not be issued:
a. You MUST contact me within 7 days of delivery to request a return, and you must ship it within 14 days of delivery.
b. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original box packaging (envelopes will not provide the proper protection, so please do not use or your return will not be accepted). If the item is damaged during return shipment due to inappropriate packaging, I reserve the right to not issue your refund.
c. It is recommended that you mail it back via USPS Priority Mail so that the package is insured and will arrive within 1-3 days. Please email me with a tracking # once sent.
d. Your refund will not include original shipping charges, only the cost of your original purchase less a 20% restocking fee.
e. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you a message to notify you only in the event that your return is not accepted. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. You will receive confirmation via an email from Etsy.

Sale items:
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

We can not give refunds to gift recipients. Refunds are only given back to the purchaser via the original payment method.

For all items purchased that require personalization (such as birthday party invites, birth announcements, etc):
If you order an item that requires you provide me with additional information (i.e. names, addresses, photos) you have up to 30 days to send me the info. After that point, your item will be marked as shipped and no refunds will be given. If I am able to send it without personalization, I will do so.
I currently accept credit card payment via direct checkout on Etsy. If you would like to cancel an order that you have placed on a physical product, it must be done within 24 hours of payment and before the order has been processed. See refund policies section for more information.
I carefully package all items to ensure safe delivery. All items will be shipped within specified time as stated in item description via First Class (2-5 days) or Priority Mail (1-3 days) and you will be given a tracking number. Some listings give you the choice of shipping speed.

I am not responsible for losses, damages, or delays by the postal service. If your item has been shipped Priority (baby books and rush orders), then insurance (up to $100) is included and you can take the item to the post office to receive compensation for the damage. If shipped First Class, insurance is generally not included.

Please be sure that your shipping address and email match your Etsy account, or your item will be sent to the wrong place. If it is shipped to the wrong location, customer will need to re-purchase and re-ship item or wait for it to be returned to me and pay to have it re-shipped. I am not liable for misdelivery.

Please note that I am located in the US; if you are ordering from outside of the US, you may incur Customs fees. As the purchaser, you are responsible for these fees.

What if I need rush processing?

I do have rush processing available as a separate listing in my shop. Add it to your cart along with the item you wish to purchase:

For Printable Products:
Receive your order within 24 hours via email.

For Printed/Shipped Products:
Order will be packaged and shipped within 48 hours if it is something I have in stock. If it is a custom order (i.e. requires your personal info like invitations, etc.), you will receive the proof within 48 hours and the printing process will be expedited. Please contact me to make sure that your timeline will work. Order will be sent 2-day Priority Mail instead of First Class.

What is the difference between receiving a JPEG or a PDF?

On most of my invitations, I offer the choice of a JPEG or PDF file (JPEG is usually the default and PDF is by request only). The JPEG is a single image file that is perfect if you plan on printing your invitation as a photo at a retailer like Target, Costco, Walgreens, etc. Most of these come in 5x7", but check the individual listing for its exact size. The PDF version is what you would request if you wish to print on cardstock and cut the invitations out yourself. All PDFs come as an 8.5 x 11" file with multiple invites per page (depends on size of invite).

How do I print my digital items on my home printer?

1. Whenever you print from home, I suggest printing on 80-100 lb white cardstock for best quality. Before you print, look at your settings and be sure to uncheck any option that shrink or "fit to page" - you DO NOT want your printer to resize the design, or your final sizing will be off and if you are printing a backside to your design, the front and back will likely not line up.
2. If you are printing a back side to your design, reload the pages you just printed into your printer following instructions on your printer for which side to place facing up. Print the back side just as you did the front; unchecking any option that says shrink or fit to page.
3. Cut out the cards following the cropmarks on the front of the invitation.

I want to print my digital item with an online printer like, can you set my file up to print with them?

Yes, however there will be an additional file set-up charge ($5 per item) if you request this AFTER I have created your proof. Each online printer has different requirements. You will need to find out the exact specifications needed from your printer (file type and size, including bleeds) and let me know in the Notes box during checkout. If requested after, I will set up a custom listing for you for the $5 fee.
