My item matched the description was very nicely made but ultimately turned out not to be what I wanted. Dealing with Kevin O’ Brien was delightful. He responded promptly and politely and return and refund quickly and satisfactorily arranged. I would recommend the O’Brien wood shop and its products and customer service. I am not as happy with the Etsy website which I found difficult to use.

Freaking awesome. I love it. It looks like a piece of art but it feels really good when your blade makes contact. If you have a really sharp and meaty blade make sure you control that downswing.. though, even if you give it some gas it handles it just fine. Feels very well planed. Sits solid as a rock on my countertop. Great craftsmanship. This is exactly what I wanted. Never thought I would be this happy to buy a block of wood, but I am! 🙏
