About

From a Hobby to a Small Business

I started jewelry making when I was working as a nail technician and sold some of my first pieces at the salon. I was encouraged to continue making jewelry and I have ever since.

First it was just a hobby and it was fun, but when my husband had a stroke and our lives changed drastically, I made jewelry to supplement our income and help to keep my sanity in my role as caregiver.

Making jewelry is therapeutic for me and I have hopes that I can make sales to help us financially.

I do understand that jewelry making is a tough way to make money with so many people making handmade jewelry and selling online, but I have faith that there is a market out there for my jewelry and it will connect with people who will enjoy it.

I like the saying,

"Build it and they will come."

(and the movie with Kevin Costner ~ Field of Dreams)
