The cookbook stand arrived quickly

I did not receive the item in a timely manner, the owner of the shop was not responsive to a message I sent to her, and when I finally received the item after two weeks it was not handcrafted as advertised and instead was clearly marked as made in China. I do not recommend buying anything from this shop.

This recipe book holder not only solves a problem in our kitchen, but it is so aesthetically pleasing, beautifully crafted, and stylish. We love it!

I should have noticed originally but most if not all of the images for this are AI generated. The item is much cheaper looking in person and made of very lightweight wood or some sort of composite material that tips over with the slightest movement. You definitely cannot pull a paper towel off of this with one hand. The string for the ball comes out of the side of the post and rubs against the inside of the towel tube which makes rotation even more difficult. This is also noted if you go to the sellers "About" but I didn't do enough due dillegence beforehand but this item is made and shipped from China. You wouldn't even need to see the box labels its very obvious when removing the item from the packaging. Overall I think this item is way overpriced for what it is and something I would expect from Amazon, certainly not handmade

The item matches the description and seems to be good quality. It doesn’t have a nonslip base, though.

The stand is nice but too flimsy and not practical at all; I'm very disappointed.
