✨ Update: All shelves now come standard with a satin lacquer finish for a smooth, durable, and polished look. Polyurethane is still available by request — just let us know!

Shelves were beautifully done and matched our custom spec. The shelves were carefully packed (double boxed and bubble-wrapped) to protect them during shipping. Great purchase experience, great people to work with, great product, and great care to have the shelves delivered on time and in pristine condition.

This family run business is absolutely amazing! The quality is top, and the customer service is excellent because UPS damaged the beautiful hickory shelf and Beth quickly had her husband create a new one and shipped it out to me to replace the UPS damaged shelf.

In a workshop filled with sawdust and creativity, our woodworking family brings our visions to life together.

HI! Welcome to our Shop, we are Terry & Beth, the husband & wife woodworking team behind OakRidgeCustomDesign!
Terry owns and runs Oak Ridge Custom Cabinetry in Early Texas and has been a master craftsman for 28+ years. Over the years I have wanted to do something with all the amazing and beautiful wood scraps we get. First, we supplied an old friend with scrap wood to turn for the beautiful wood pens he made. Now over the years those passions turned into a full time woodworking business that we now run together. Every day in the shop is so much fun, especially since our 4 legged pal Jax also gets to come to work with us every day!

We specialize in furniture grade mantels and Species specific floating shelves along with all types of custom work. Our wood species of choice is premium Hickory Pecan and American Walnut but we enjoy using other wood types too, so if you have a different wood in mind let me know and we can whip that right up for you!
