Announcement   FREE SHIPPING on all teether orders!

Everything I create is handmade! I am an artist from Minnesota with a wood shop full of fun tools. These are just a few things I create with my extremely short attention span. To see more of what I do, please check out my website: www.oaktreearts.com.

I create custom orders for anyone interested. I can make just about anything. You have a crazy idea, let me know, I can probably make it happen. Just contact me at oaktreearts [!at] yahoo.com.

I hope you enjoy what I offer, and I will be adding to my store when I come up with some more new stuff.

Nice base for handmade soaps. I love that it's wood! But the soap sticks to it. And it's difficult to remove the soap bar for use. I wonder if some sort of finishing oil or heavy wax might solve the problem.

About

Aspiring maker of all things.

I bought a stained glass framing company in 2004 not knowing what I was getting myself into. I was looking for a business adventure out of college, mostly because there was not much I could do with a degree in Art and Archaeology. I was terrified of saws (even to this day am still pretty afraid of table saws). Realizing pretty quickly that I had a lot of scrap wood leftover that I couldn't use for framing stained glass, I knew I had to do something with my hoard. So, I started making cutting boards to give as gifts. That slowly evolved into selling the cutting boards for money. Which then expanded itself into other kitchen wares and functional art. I traveled around doing craft shows here and there, then all of a sudden I found out I was going to be a mom. Surprisingly, that's when I decided I wanted to start making toys. My business is constantly evolving and changing depending on what I feel like making at any particular moment.

I am always creating new items, so please keep checking in. If you have a project in mind, I make custom orders as well. Just message me with your requests.

My inspirations are all around me and I try to keep the creative juices flowing at all times. If you want to see more of what I do, please visit www.oaktreearts.com.

I got into woodworking right out of college and never looked back. I have a deep background in classic art forms and craft work. Keeping creative is my main goal in life, and I am always learning new techniques and skills.

    Toy Tester, Assistant, Master Distractor

This little munchkin is the reason I keep my child-like inspiration fresh. She has been a toy tester since she was 3 months old. She always has an opinion about everything, and hopefully, someday, will realize how spoiled she is. Love her to bits!
