Hi, I’m Debie Talbot, and welcome to the Studio where I pray that heaven meets earth in the form of pretties and encouragements. As you look around, may joy and grace be the atmosphere. May a smile be loosed on your face, in your soul and in your spirit.
My husband and I moved from central Florida to North Caroline in March 2019 and are loving it here. Moved here to be nearer our son & daughter-in-love, while we’re still young enough to 1. move ourselves and 2. still develop and enjoy a closer relationship with them and her parents.
I’ve been making greeting cards and graphic prints for friends & family for several years, and was often told, "You ought to sell these." Easier said than done, but after much hemming & hawing, I’ve finally gutted up and decided to go public with an Etsy Shop.
In 2021 Objects of Joy took on a new phase as I resurrected my life-long love for yarn works, particularly knitting. I love using higher end yarns to create unique shawls & scarves & other sundry accessories. In 2022 I added these creations to my Etsy shop as "Yarn Works". Each creation is prayed over and comes with a blessing for the recipient.
Each Object of Joy is designed with the intent to bring a smile to your face and gladness to your heart, and hopefully to add value to your life. May you find the joy of the Lord in them, just as I have in the creation of each one.
