Loved the confetti it was perfect with out theme thank you!
I grew up in a small New England town along the Androscoggin River, surrounded by trees. Paper-making was the industry of the area. My dad, and generations of my family before him, worked at the paper mill. So you could say paper's in my blood.
But it wasn't until a design and composition course in college that I realized paper could be my art, too. I recall how natural it felt to take those small pieces of cut-up magazine pages and arrange them to construct a series of images of a green bowl on a wooden table. Since then, I've been cutting, gluing, tearing, curling, and folding to my heart's content.
When my husband and I got married in May 2012, our wonderful wedding planner instantly tapped into my papercrafting passion and our love of maps, text, and books. We came up with a slew of fabulous paper decor ideas and I set to work making them come to life. I loved every minute of it and haven't been able to stop. I realized it was time to put my work out there and connect with others who are looking for just the right touch for their special occasions.
Oh, and one last thing you should know... I almost always use repurposed paper, for two reasons:
1) I love appropriating things that are already infused with a history and purpose, and
2) I love my trees.
