This yarn is absolutely wonderful. I haven’t started my project yet, but I already know I will be purchasing more of it for other projects.

I try to be monogamous to a knitting project but this yarn is so wonderful I’m winding it and casting on my new project leaving a half finished sweater on needles. The yarn is gorgeous and the seller was prompt and generous.

Very springy, rustic-looking but not very scratchy-feeling. Beautiful lustrous fibers, some lengths of yarn have more dark-fleece spun into them, but color shadings are not obtrusive in knitted object. I used US 5 needles for a tight 2x 2 ribbing, changing to US 10.5 for main body of sweater. Note that with #10.5 needles, the yarn's sometimes-uneven thickness plus sometimes fuzzier texture means that knitting tension needs to change for ribbing. For 1 x 1 ribbing, I recommend an extra pull on each purl stitch. Previous sweater pattern I did was a complex lace pattern on US 9 needles, and the result was too stiff for my preference. Remaking the yarn into current sweater with lots of 1 x 1 ribbing on sz. 10.5 has produced a beautiful result! Thank you, Ellen!

This is an amazing pattern. My daughter bought it a while back and gifted me with the long tunic made in wool. I receive compliments on it every time I wear it. I’m retired and now have time to sew and ordered the pattern which is amazing. Easy to use, fabulous instructions and a quick response from Ellen when I had a question. You’ll love it!
