I've loved dogs my whole life. They're the best of us: loyal, funny, endlessly forgiving, always thrilled to see you walk through the door. So when I went looking for art that celebrated that — something I'd actually be proud to hang on my wall — I was surprised by what I found.
Most dog art out there is, well... a little cheesy. Cartoonish portraits, cheesy slogans, novelty prints that feel more like a gag gift than something you'd frame in your living room. I wanted something different. Something tasteful. Art that captured how much our dogs actually mean to us, without the kitsch.
So I decided to make it myself.
Of Breed is my passion project — a way to create the kind of dog art I wanted to live with. Pieces that are warm, a little whimsical, and worthy of a frame. Art that makes you smile when you walk past it, whether because it reminds you of your own pup or simply because it looks lovely on the wall.
My wife and I share our home with two English Springer Spaniels, so you'll probably notice a soft spot for the breed sneaking into the collection now and then. But this shop is for every dog lover.
