99.9% of the time it is cheap paint. Almost every photo I receive I can tell it is watery paint. Please save yourself the frustration and stay out of those craft sections at all the craft stores. If you do not want to order online almost all craft stores have an art section and they carry Liquitex acrylic paint. It is not crazy expensive and it will last you a long time.

If you are painting walls my go to is PPG Diamond from Home Depot.

Taking care of your stencils is vital to them lasting. These stencils can last for hundreds of uses if taken care of.

- Always lay them flat! Do not stack anything on top of them except other stencils. I also highly recommend you place paper between each stencil so they do not "catch" on each other when grabbing them to use.

- Wash immediately after use. If you lay them in your sink and run warm water over them, the paint, if using acrylics, will wash right off with no rubbing needed. Lay flat to dry.

All of our stencils are industrial Laser Cut Reusable stencils. Made of quality 10 mil mylar material, a PET plastic. PET is food safe for your cookie or food stencils as well as long lasting for your sign business or company logos.

What you usually can buy off the shelf in a craft store is 3mil or from non-laser cutters is 5mil.

I ALWAYS recommend using a stencil adhesive to reduce bleed. You are working with thicker mylar, it will bleed if you do not have a great technique. Using a stencil adhesive takes the room for error and greatly reduces it!
My go-to is Krylon Repositionable Stencil Adhesive 7020. I seriously buy this stuff by the case, I use it on every stencil. You then can clean up the stencil by using GooGone.

I also recommend VERY thick acrylic paint if you are going to be using that style paint. Do NOT shop the craft section and expect a great result, go to the art section to purchase your paints. I buy all of my own supplies from Dick Blick online.

We cut to order, 𝗻𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗸𝗲! We do not have shelves of cut stencils. All the stencils in your order are not cut until you make the order and they are cut just for you.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧?They might not be totally flat when they reach you as they are brand spanking new!
Will they flatten? Yes, they sure will, but if you are like me you do not want to wait so use just a tad of stencil adhesive and you are golden.
Mylar comes in massive 200lb rolls (𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭, 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 🤣 ) We use a 10mil Mylar which last for longer uses but can hold that curl a tad longer too.

The larger stencils will come in a shipping tube. Yes, mylar stencils can be rolled. Mylar is actually cut off huge rolls. If you lay flat it will flatten if it is holding a curve. Sometimes the lower we get in the rolls the more it wants to hold the curve. Roll it backwards and stick it back in the tube for 24 hours and you will be good to go. If you do not want to wait, like me, just use stencil adhesive and tape and go for it. With those two the curve will be forced straight.
