5 out of 5 starsI bought this as a birthday gift for my fiancé who ferments a lot of things, and he loves it! So far he's made two batches of sauerkraut and a fermented hot pepper and honey relish in it, and it's worked really well. We keep it right on our kitchen counter because it's such a beautifully crafted piece. The shipping was quick and the packaging was secure as well.

5 out of 5 starsWow! I love these pickling crocks. They look beautiful while I wait for my veggies to pickle! I don't think you will find another crock that even comes close! Thank you.
About OguskyCeramics
from public health to pottery
I live in Boston, Massachusetts, but have lived all over the globe, working with potters in Southern Africa & South America and working as a Peace Corps Volunteer, public health educator & social activist. Now, as a full-time studio potter, one way I am helping to improve health is as an advocate of fermentation.
I understand that the decision to buy handmade objects is more than just an economic decision, but a political one. By creating functional ceramic art for use in the kitchen & home, I hope to be making beautiful & useful objects while also building a more just economy and appreciation for craft.
Each piece is lead-free, non-toxic, dishwasher & microwave safe, and has been fired to over 2200 o. With care, it should last a lifetime! Learn more about my crocks at www.oguskyceramics.com
