My story goes back to Ellis Island, when my grandmother Sadie arrived from Vienna, Austria. My grandmother came to America and worked in the Triangle Shirt factory, becoming an amazing seamstress. She taught me to stitch and sew when I was 4 years old. I have sewn many things ever since! I love ❤️ threads and fabrics and everything associated with them. I enjoy 😊 both handwork and machine stitching , quilting and embroidery. What a gift it is to be able to created beautiful things. I retired after 36 years as a speech pathologist and was selling my wares ( quilts, bags, embridered items), happily. At Quilters Take Manhattan, I met Liz Dougherty of FreeSpirit Fabrics, and the rest is history-or herstory. I love. Selling fabrics and threads, both in person and on-line. Quilting and embroidery remain my passion . Enjoy!
