About OhDinaFlowerCrowns

Sales 2,073
On Etsy since 2014

Hi! I'm Nicole, the milliner and maker of Oh Dina! Millinery. I am from a small seaside village in Nova Scotia called Fox Point but have spent most of my adult years in bustling cities like Toronto and New York. I have an historical background in costuming from Dalhousie University and also studied Fashion Design at Ryerson University. When I'm not in the Oh Dina! studio, I am working in film and television creating historical millinery for period productions. You can see my work in The Lizzie Borden Chronicles staring Christina Ricci as well as the upcoming HBO series Lewis and Clark and Netflix's Frontier. I also teach Flower Crown Workshops which are a whale of a time!

Oh Dina! came into fruition in 2008 from a deep love of millinery, vintage aesthetic and a love of historical costuming. While I was studying millinery at Ryerson I began to create vintage inspired headpiece for myself. Within a few months of launching Oh Dina!, I suddenly had a business and was selling to fine boutiques across Canada and the US! I truly have to pinch myself sometimes because I can hardly believe I have been able to do what I love for 8 wonderful years. I am so grateful to all of my clients for all of the love and support of the ever changing collection.

Oh Dina! headpieces and millinery have been featured in Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Weddingbells Magazine, Flare Magazine, Wedluxe, The Wedding Co., The Toronto Star, Globe and Mail as well as CTV, CBC and Global TV.
