Nice quality thin plastic shade. Not too thin to be weak but not fat either. Am currently using it to hide an upright desk pencil sharpener. Looks cute with my owl decor in my office.

Very pleased with construction and fabric. Was excited to find the design as I was looking for a pattern that had personal meaning and these florals are representative of states of which we either grew up and/or currently live so it fit the bill! And the fabric is great for year-round use. If done custom I would have added piping but that would have doubled or tripled the price and I was on a budget. The pillow case came quicker than I expected and has held up under the bouncing of our 2 year old granddaughter!
