Welcome to My Shop! I'm Sarah, a Theatre Performer and Scenic Designer by trade and novelist by night (4am writing sessions sometimes yield the best work!), but call myself "a story-teller of all mediums". This has somehow expanded to being a creator of many mediums as well. I work in traditional and non-traditional art mediums. You'll find a lot of fun things here and hopefully it'll make you want to be a part of my story.
My shop goal is one I've thought about for a long time - most of my childhood costumes and accessories were refashioned items from dresses inherited from my mother or items scavenged from thrift stores and yard sales. Now that I am an adult with more skills, I realized I could put that concept to work for others as well.
The vast majority of listings in my shop are made from an already existent garment that I have transformed into a one of a kind, bespoke item with flair from both the Renaissance Era, often with a heavy influence of fantasy elements. Other items are thrifted pieces that already fit into this style, or accessories I have crafted using reclaimed beads, hardware, etc.
This process creates a win-win situation: first, by using existing garments from thrift stores, etc, the creation of these pieces cuts down on waste materials and becomes far more eco-friendly than entirely new garments. Secondly, because these items are second hand or use reclaimed materials, they can be sold at a cheaper rate than brand new garments whose materials make up a large portion of the cost.
A few things of note:
Due to some of my items coming from thrift stores, not all items will be Vegan. I will endeavor to post those that I know are made of leather or not, but some items come into my hands without tags on them, and I will be unable to verify.
Each garment I make is one of a kind! This means that no one else is going to be wearing the exact same style as you the next time you step out to Faire or a costume party. But it also means that I will not have multiple sizes available of a garment you like. Feel free to reach out if you have a request and I can work to hunt down an item to recreate one in your size if you absolutely love a piece of mine you see!
Thanks for visiting!

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful work! I actually had her draw my grandparents as a Christmas Present for my Mother. The attention to detail was exquisite and very realistic. These hand drawn portraits are good for all occasions, and a really wonderful way to make a pictured moment more special.
