Lance and Kim have been creating their wood sculptures for 33 years and it is their family's way of making a living under the Blue Ridge Mountain Skies, thus making it Folk Art in it's purest form.

The Long family also demonstrate their carving skills for the public in places like Disney World and various art galleries and art shows around the country. The Long's carvings can be found in shops and galleries around the United States, Canada and Europe.

We do get really close to what you see in the picture, but every carving is individually carved and painted so they will not be exactly like the one pictured...
