Things of beauty are a joy forever...

It’s certainly no secret to anyone who knows me that I have lifelong love affair with flea markets, auctions, thrift shops and antiques stores. Looking for where to find the next booth sale or auction house is really a way of life for me and my husband. I buy things for my clients, my friends and myself, so there’s always a reason for me to go shopping.

What draws me and my attraction to antique and vintage is the mystery of what rare and unique piece I will find next. Of course I’m attracted to the beauty and quality of many vintage items,  But those aren’t the only reasons why I search out items with a past.

I'm intrigued with the idea that I’m buying items that have a history and soul. I love the idea that in the past people had so little and cared and treasured what little they had.  I love to research the piece to find out their provenance. These things I believe add character to my home and the homes of my clients — and they also make great and very appreciated gifts.



IMPORTANT:
I am not a professional appraiser. While I try to educate myself and have knowledge of all the items I list , I am by no means an expert. I do my very best to describe items accurately and honestly and to clearly point out any possible damage or flaws. Understand that sometimes we might call an item silver or golden but this is a means of describing color. If the item is clearly marked we will tell you that as well. As many of the things I sell have been used in the past by others, they are most in antique or estate condition, they can be expected to show some signs of wear or imperfections. I do only surface cleaning of the items for photographic purposes, so you will most likely need to clean the items more thoroughly when you receive them. Please read item description carefully. Please look at ALL the pictures, and If you have any questions, please email me before placing your bid. I can send more pictures upon request.
Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. If a problem should arise, I will be very happy and more than willing to work with you in reaching an agreement. Please contact us if this situation presents itself.
Whenever possible we ship our items in recycled boxes and filling.

Just trying to share my love of all things old, bizarre, rare and precious. Please have a good look around and if you have any questions or would like more photos please CONVO me for quick response.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns
Contact me within: 7 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
I don't accept exchanges or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
ALL Returns and Refunds: Contact me right away so that returns and refunds can be completed quickly. Best for both of us.

1.) A basic purchase mistake (I just don't want it): I will refund for cost of item after returned in original condition.
(Shipping costs refunded for single-item purchase only.)

2.) If item has arrived damaged: Send me a photo of damage and I will try from my end to figure it out with the shipping insurance company. DO NOT immediately ship the item back to me as sometimes it is important to the insurance company that the item remains with you. I will work with you to get your refund to you as soon as possible but I also need your cooperation.
If you have to return the item to me, you will be refunded for the damaged item, (including shipping if it was the only item purchased).
I do not anticipate this happening but you never know. I will also be taking photos of me packing the item and will be packing the item very very well indeed. Photos are good evidence for insurance purposes for both of us.

3.) If you need me to change your Etsy or PayPal address, please let me know right away. Please double check your address and make sure it is clear and concise.
I do not provide refunds for orders shipped to an incorrect address. Please take this into consideration before placing your order.

4) Finally, there are alot of real life issues that come up, If I am unable to send out your shipment out in a reasonable and/or agreed upon time I will let you know this as soon as possible via CONVO and if I receive no response from you due to your real life issues that may be going on on your end, then I will refund your money for the item within 3 business days.

Example: Recently a family friend passed away and we were busy with helping to arrange funeral details for more than a week. (shit happens)

I accept all Etsy payments methods including PayPal and all Credit Cards listed. Please do realize you can choose the PayPal option and still pay with a credit card, you do not necessarily need a Paypal account.

We will try to have all shipments on their way within 1-2 business days after your payment is received.

If you need me to change your Etsy or Paypal address to an other address, please contact me right away via CONVO feature. (For example if the item is a gift going to someone else)
I will always do my best to accommodate such requests. If I am not able to, (due to your location, or issues on my end), I will let you know immediately.

If you would like a PAPER RECEIPT for your administration please let me know in the comment section of your order. I will not automatically include a paper receipt with your order, unless you request it. A printable version is always available via email and in your Etsy account.

We will generally ship smaller items Priority Class Mail. We will send you the tracking number. Our shipping costs are very low because we absorb most of the costs for our business to keep it as low as possible for you the costumer. *Large or fragile items, as well as our higher priced items will be shipped Priority Mail. and I will automatically insure these for your own protection because you spent such a large sum on an item you really should have it insured. There is no need for you to bother yourself about these costs as we insure the items for you.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
I do not anticipate a problem as I do lots of my shopping via the internet from overseas as well but I must inform you of the following policy:

When you make a purchase, you agree to the following:
If your country charges a Value Added Tax (VAT) on imported goods, these charges are the Buyer's responsibility and duty to pay. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the European Union may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees charged by the costum rules of your country for the purchase price.

The recipient of an international shipment may also be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.
***All charges as those mentioned above must be paid by the recipient; I have no control over these charges, cannot predict what they may be and I am not responsible for paying them.***

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delivery delays outside of my control. When purchasing more than one item, shipping is combined. An order of more than one item will not be broken into multiple packages to avoid import duties.

Full purchase price is listed on each customs form. Items will not be listed as "gift" ---------they are merchandise.
