Whether you’re choosing a new sack for an upcoming trip or surprising a loved one with a place to store their high tech camera, you’re sure to find a treasure hidden within the shop.
Our names are Ava and Ariel and we’re the proud owners of Oliday. We opened Oliday with a simple idea - we wanted to create and sell a camera bag with plenty of pockets and compartments so we could carry all of our most important items with us everywhere we go. At that time, we had been looking for a camera bag that was trendy, functional, and affordable but was never able to quite find what we were looking for.
Fast forward to 2012, we used our education in graphic design and fashion design to create this very bag. When Ava designs a new bag her overall focus is functionality and durability, but she understands that you don’t have sacrifice style for substance. All of the bags showcase a minimalist aesthetic. Before they’re brought to life, Ava creates her remarkable designs as a 2D rendering.
In 2014, we happened across another opportunity to create something great. Ava’s sister had her first child and just couldn’t seem to find a unisex diaper bag for her and her husband that had enough pockets and compartments to hold all of their items. We spend a year designing and testing a new diaper bag and Lightdays was born.
For all of our designs we focus on quality, functionality, and timeless style.
In our spare time you’ll find us together! We’re roommates, best friends, and working partners. We’re so blessed to make a living doing something we love to do! When we’re not knee deep in fashion, we like to play with our French bulldog!
