Made from love and necessity

In late 2014 my husband and I were already convinced that having an Etsy shop was incredibly valuable. This would be our second shop ever since we had already been operating Quiet Time Designs (custom children's quiet books) for about a year.

I was already making some cute clothes for our little adorable daughter Olivia who was then 2 years old. So I decided to see if some things would sell on Etsy. I was totally lost and wasn't sure if this was something I really wanted to do but I kept some listings up even though nothing was selling :( I was almost ready to write off the baby clothing business and go back to the drawing board.

Luckily, we had a very busy November with some Christmas clothing, so I was motivated and inspired to keep going. My style and designs have evolved and will continue to change. I love to create and design. I have a background in clothing construction and design. I am constantly inspired by the styles and fashion statements I see on Pinterest.

Capturing precious moments of my own child (soon to be children) is very important to me. After all, they are only little once. I want to do my part in creating precious memories and outfits that will be remembered forever.

Our eventual goal and mission is to help create work from home jobs for stay at home moms so that they can be home with their little ones. One day I hope to fulfill that mission through my baby clothing line.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

Returns and exchange details
We are happy to EXCHANGE your product within 14 days of purchase IF we have the size you'd like in stock. WE DO NOT OFFER EXCHANGES ON ADULT APPAREL - Since we offer such a huge variety of options it is unlikely that we would be able to resell the particular color and size combination. We'll evaluate these on a case by case basis. An exchange requires you shipping us back the bottom/top/outfit and sending us the tracking number, then we will ship you the desired size.

We only accept CANCELLATIONS within 24 hours of the purchase unless we have already shipped your order before then. After 24 hours, not only have we begun planning on and working on your order but Etsy will also charge us a fee for your order after 24 hours. Within 24 hours we are happy to cancel an order with no questions asked.

In the circumstance that something needs exchanged, we are happy to help if we have made some type of mistake. If you received the wrong size or is the wrong color and we made the mistake, we will be happy to exchange the order if you contacted us within 48 hours of receiving your order in the mail. The item must be un-worn, un-washed and free of smells.

Due to the special nature of our outfits and being taken advantage of in the past, we DO NOT accept RETURNS unless some mistake was made on our end(wrong item sent, missed holiday etc.)

We accept payment through Etsy Direct Checkout and Paypal.
Shipping
US orders:
Production/handling time- Orders ship in 1-5 business days. If you need the item sooner, please contact us via an Etsy convo PRIOR to purchase

Most of our listings use the Etsy calculated shipping rates. You can choose between USPS First Class Mail (3-5 days), USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days) or USPS Express (2nd Day).

We do not provide insurance on our shipments as it is cost prohibitive and we also do not offer signature confirmation unless you specifically request this service prior to purchase.

Orders shipped with priority mail include up to $100 insurance from USPS.

We do not refund for lost/stolen or delayed packages.

International Orders:
International orders typically average 2-4 weeks for delivery in addition to our processing time. However, please keep in mind that packages sometimes take a longer period of time due to custom delays. Olive Loves Apple is not responsible for customs delays, VAT fees/charges, lost or stolen packages. International package IDs are not tracking numbers, but parcel numbers to confirm your shipment.

What is your current production time?

Our current production/handling time is 1-5 business days. If you're unsure how quickly your item can be shipped, please send us a convo.

Sizing details

All of our items vary slightly. Please look at the size chart posted in the photos of the item you're looking for.

Bodysuits- true to size chart, slightly larger than Carters
Shirts - True to size, just a tad on the small side
Raglan Tees - True to size, just a tad on the small side
Adult Tees - varies by style - see pic in listing
Youth Tees - run slightly large
Fringe Shirts/dresses- Run small

Custom and personalized orders

Q- Do you take custom orders? A- Yes. But we're pretty selective and we may say no depending on the request and a variety of other factors. Make sure you send us a convo PRIOR to purchasing with the request. Custom requests typically will cost $5-10 extra depending on the request.

Care instructions

Tops/Leg Warmers/Leggings -
Turn inside out, wash cold, delicate cycle, air dry.

Pants/Shorts/Bloomers/Skirts -
Wash delicate, tumble or air dry

Do NOT iron heart transfer vinyl directly without a layer of fabric between the vinyl and the iron

*Do NOT wash hair accessories. They will fall apart in the washing machine

Can I exchange if the outfit doesn't fit?

We are happy to process an exchange on your order of infant/toddler non-Holiday apparel. How it works:

We have you send the outfit to us and send us the tracking #. As soon as we have the tracking # we can send the new outfit in just a day or two. You'd be responsible for the shipping back but we'll ship the new one to you on us.

Returns

Since the majority of our outfits are for special occasions and they are made-to-order we do NOT accept returns. The exception to this is if we have made a mistake or we had agreed to get an outfit to you by a certain date and we missed that date.
