Oma’s Farmhouse was founded by the mother/daughter team of Heidi and Cheri. Heidi has been a collector all of her life and passed the love of decorating and antiques to Cheri. It all started in Europe many years ago. Heidi was raised by her Oma (grandmother in German) in a farmhouse filled with antiques and collectables passed down through generations and furniture repurposed by her Opa (grandfather).
They love the European style of decor found in large country farmhouses, where you’d likely find gently worn furniture that has been there for centuries. Faded chintz fabric on sofas and drapes; timeworn garden furniture; vintage china and feminine accessories.
Oma’s Farmhouse specializes in fine quality vintage and repurposed goods. Their esthetic blends soft, shabby chic cottage-style décor with hints industrial modern accessories. They are heavily influenced from the design found in French Chateaus, English country gardens, the regions of Provence and Tuscany and the American shaker period. Their decorating is relaxed and feminine, that looks comfortable and inviting.
