Announcement   Welcome to my metalwork shop! My designs of sterling and copper are sometimes elegant and sometimes whimsical, but always high quality. You can feel good about your purchase, as all of my pieces are created with quality recycled (refined) sterling silver or copper, and never contain nickel, which is great for people with allergies. My metal scraps are returned to an eco friendly refinery in the U.S. for recycling and the process begins all over again. You'll find my earrings are weightless and comfortable, even in the larger sizes. My work is my joy and that's what I create.... joyful art for every day wear!

LUV❤️ this beautiful copper butterfly necklace... & the customer service is awesome!!! The shop owner accidentally sent me a necklace like the one I ordered, except with a larger butterfly pendant. She contacted me promptly to update me before any necklace was delivered, informing me that she would send the correct necklace soon, and that I was to KEEP the necklace that was sent by mistake. The necklaces were shipped & delivered quickly, (in cute ribboned boxes). The smaller necklace is a little more casual than the large one, so they’ll be compatible with different outfits.

This butterfly set is absolutely beautiful! They are the perfect size. I love how the earring butterflies seem to flutter around! Thank you, Leann, for making them for me.

About

Where my hammer meets the metal

My interest began as a kid watching my father in his workshop. He was always welding and hammering on something, usually some piece of farm equipment. One day I started tinkering with old tools and re-bar and created outdoor animal sculptures. That was the spark that led to creating smaller pieces and eventually jewelry.

I manipulate the metal with hand tools and hammers using old world techniques; in other words nothing high tech! I heat the metal to make it soft and easy to form. Then shapes are created with various pliers and hammers and off to the solder bench for joining. That's where things come to life. After a soak in a warm "pickle" (acid bath) the pieces are tumbled to harden and polish. Sometimes I'll add a dark patina to bring out the texture and character. Each little work of art is meant to be worn often and not sit waiting for that special occassion.

I never dreamed that I would ever end up doing what I do for a living, and loving it so much! My work reflects my life....simple and joyful!
