5) I draw your portrait and send an export
6) You verify colors and spelling

After you place your order, we will attempt to contact you multiple times to keep the process moving forward. If we have not heard from you and received your reference pictures within 30 days from the date your order was placed, we will mark your order as “complete” and will provide you with an order voucher. This voucher is to give you more time to provide your reference pictures so we can place your order on our schedule.

My portraits take time and I need to schedule them so please check our Shop Announcement for our current turnaround times.

If you need your portrait sooner than our current turnaround time, consider purchasing a gift certificate instead!

You can absolutely add an additional subject to your custom portrait by purchasing our Add-on when you check out.  

You are welcome to do so if you order a digital file only, but we will print your portrait and will mail it to you so it is ready to display however you wish! When we print your portrait, we ensure that the colors will match what you saw in the proof and the portrait will be on professional photo paper and printed with archival inks. 

Absolutely! I will send you an export of your custom illustration before finalizing your order. I do this so you can confirm spelling, the hair color, and eye colors in the portrait before I complete your order. Any requested revisions MUST be sent within 36 hours of me sending your proof.  No changes can be made to your drawing once this window has closed.

You are welcome to request changes to spelling and color adjustments after I send the export of your completed illustration. Any requested edits beyond these things may incur additional charges based on the complexity of the request. Any requests that require re-drawing will result in additional charges and an extension of your order's ship date since I create your illustration from scratch. 

Nope! We create all of our custom portraits from scratch. We will use your image for reference, but everything is digitally drawn by hand using a pen and tablet.

My illustrations are my unique artistic representation and will not be an exact replica of the reference pictures. However, I work hard to capture the details and features to create a portrait with the likeness of the subjects in the reference pictures.
