Love getting time in my studio to do art!
I've had this easel for over 15 years. It's fun to see the accumulation of paint.
Here's a sample of some of my paints. Next to painting, I love shopping for art supplies!

I love to create artwork that adds happiness to any space

I was one of those kids that always loved to do art. From doodling to sketching to painting, I always liked to spend time doing art. I was very lucky to have wonderful art teachers that encouraged and inspired me. I did not end up pursing it as a career; my practical side kicked in and wanted to make sure that I was doing something that would pay the bills. So, I went into the "fast paced" world of the Non-Profits! It did pay the bills (just barely, many times) and it has been work that fills my heart with hope and appreciation. I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to have possibly helped or improved the lives of the many people served by my mental health program.
Art never left my side - I would return to it more as a coping strategy, an outlet, a way to bring me happiness or centering. I took classes and workshops to improve my skills and also helped me set the time aside for doing something creative.
I recently made the big step of renting a dedicated art space. I don't have to compete with the kitchen needs at home nor the curiosity of my kitties (they just love dipping their paw into my brush water). It is my space to do as I wish!
Please check out my Esty Shop - I am adding more items periodically and want the items here to be affordable. I also sell my originals at a local gallery in Livermore.
