It feels like it was yesterday but it was oh so long ago. "It" all began at an auction in Ohio. My husband and I stood in the rain, elbow to elbow with other drenched onlookers. We waited patiently, well, maybe not patiently, for our desired lot to pass the auctioner's lips. After fervent bidding we thought we were the proud and lucky owners of a $150 cow. Silly us! That cow was actually a barnful of vintage magazines and books. Good thing we were young and stupid, it was the best purchase we ever made. It's been vintage maps and prints ever since.
