Updates

I just visited this state for the first time a few weeks ago. Tulsa seems like a cool city! If you love where you live, these custom made state pendants are a wonderful accessory (& gift idea). You get to choose the state, shape, metal finish, and color.

Sliced leather cuffs in any color you like. These have been in my shop since 2009, but they're so simple & modern, I would never dream of discontinuing them!

About

Who's Sam, anyway?

It's not that I don't know what I want to do when I grow up, it's that I want to do so many things.

Hey there! I'm Sarah Mandell (my initials are SAM, which is where my shop name comes from), and I'm the brains and busy hands behind Once Again Sam. This indie craft business based in Greenville, SC, started out as a hobby in 2009, but after a few years it has become my dream job come true.

I graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2005, and my career background is in commercial interior design, which I still do on the side (it's a pretty fun day job so I couldn't give it up altogether!) but these days my primary job is as a Maker. I never imagined I could earn a living this way, as a self-employed working artist, but I feel incredibly blessed to have the chance to create all day every day.

When I'm not making leather jewelry or needle felting curious things, I'm still creating, but with words writing fiction. I've had one novel published so far and the next is due out in a few months. It's fair to say I live to create!

My handmade jewelry features repurposed leather and wood, and my needle felted fiber art called "Felted Curiosities" range from realistic looking plants, to quirky sea creatures, and even anatomical hearts.

Shipping
EXPEDITED SHIPPING: if you need an item shipped via Priority Mail (2-5 days) or Express Mail (overnight), please upgrade your shipping during checkout.

First Class mail is standard on all orders, which usually takes 2-10 days depending on your location in the US.

LOCAL CUSTOMERS: I apologize for the inconvenience, but I cannot offer in-person drop offs or meet-ups.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Depending on your location, shipping times can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks, and tracking is not provided.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS: Any additional fees or taxes that may be required to pick up your item from customs are the buyer's responsibility. If you choose to refuse the package at customs due to these additional fees, I will only be able to refund the cost of item (not the postage), once the item makes it back to me.

TRACKING / MISSING ITEMS: This is an extremely rare thing in my experience, but I'm including info here just in case! If your package doesn't arrive, and it is NOT confirmed as delivered (according to the tracking number), I will file a claim with USPS and resend the item once an appropriate amount of time has passed to allow for postal service delays or returned packages (max. 3 weeks). If the item IS confirmed as delivered (according to tracking number), but hasn't arrived, I will ask the buyer to file a claim with USPS, and would be glad to walk you through that process.
Refunds and Exchanges
EXCHANGES: if the item doesn't fit or you changed your mind, you may return it within 10 business days from the time it was delivered (you are responsible for return shipping costs). Once the item is returned to me, I can either exchange it for another item or I can process a refund for the original item (minus shipping costs).

DAMAGES: if an item arrives broken, please send me a photo and I'll either replace it or issue a refund.

CUSTOM ORDERS: I cannot issue any kind of refund or exchange on custom made items. No exceptions.

SALE ITEMS: all items in Sale section are final sale items.
