About

In Chinese, the word for Crisis also means Opportunity

I started my Etsy shop after the economic crisis in 2008, when credit was frozen, galleries were unable to buy, and my husband was laid off. It was an unexpected success! We were able to keep our home during the 11 months of unemployment, and I found a real passion for selling my work online. Prior to selling on Etsy, I sold wholesale to top American fine art and craft galleries. Etsy gave me the opportunity to make exactly what I want to make and list it for sale individually. I no longer needed a gallery owner's approval, and my funky organic style with whimsical woodland themes found a new audience in young shoppers who frequent the internet more than galleries.

I soon became a top selling Etsy ceramicist. I have since branched out to LeeWolfePottery.com -my website- as my social media skills have grown.

I have refined my designs over decades of studio time and an inborn predilection for the marriage of function and art. I am a trained artist and designer with a great passion for having objects in my world that are meaningful and supportive of my highest ideals and aspirations. I make choices with conscientious intention in every aspect of my ceramic work, and thus do not welcome offers to make custom work that requires variations of my own designs. I love knowing that my work brings joy to those who own it. It may not be exactly what you were looking for but, for the right person, it will become exactly what you cannot live without!

Shipping
You may be viewing an Etsy site test that doesn't show shipping rates correctly. What, you may wonder, is the point of that? I would like to know, too. But you might have to put pieces you want in a shopping cart in order to view shipping prices. As combined shipping is much cheaper, please put 2 items in cart together to check that out. It is sometimes only a few dollars more to add a second item shipping to the same address.

I am happy to ship internationally. International shipping prices are Priority Mail and usually take 6-10 business days for arrival depending on the country. These shipments are traceable and insured.

Customs, duties and VAT are the responsibility of the buyer. I am required to declare the full value of your purchases including the cost of shipping. Please review your country's customs, duties and VAT before making your purchase.

Due to the higher cost of Priority Mail I suggest purchasing more than one piece at a time. This will lower your cost per item purchased. Sorry, no gift wrapping on international shipments but I will gladly enclose a "To/From" gift card.

All of my pieces are packed with care to ensure their safe arrival. I use a combination of new and clean, reused packing materials.

I usually ship orders within one business day but no less than twice a week. If you need your item expedited quickly, please let me know. I use USPS Priority for lighter packages and UPS Ground or USPS parcel post for the heavier items. Please allow 2-14 days for the arrival of your purchase. Again, if you have a specific deadline or would like to upgrade to a faster service, please contact me prior to purchase. I use Delivery Confirmation, and, in some cases, Signature Confirmation, so please make arrangements to receive your packages in person or make arrangements with USPS for pick up.

In order to save paper, please print a copy of the invoice from Etsy if you must have one. If you ask me to, I would happily include a copy for you.

Please note that every piece is created individually, and while I do my best to accurately represent them in my pictures, your piece may differ slightly in color or shape.

If this is a gift purchase please let me know so we can include a gift card for your friend.

Important note: Please make sure the address confirmed on your Paypal account is the accurate address before buying. Due to Paypal policies, I can only ship to the address on your Paypal account. If you want the item to be shipped to a different address (work, giftee), please add and select this address in your PayPal account profile when paying.

COMBINED SHIPPING WITH LEEWOLFEPOTTERY.COM: If you purchase items on my website the same day, going to the same address, as a purchase from OneClayBead, leave a "message to seller" requesting combined shipping. I will calculate your savings and refund the difference to your PayPal account.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please open and inspect your piece(s) upon receipt, and report damages to me ASAP. I will replace any lost or damaged work. You may return anything for a full refund, minus shipping charges, if it is not what you wanted. Please notify me upon receipt, and send the piece back for a refund. I request that you use the same packing materials, so that the piece is received back in good condition. It is my intention that you really love your handmade piece, and use or wear it with joy for many years.
