About

Life has surprises in store ... it is what we do with them that counts!

Welcome to the shop. I'm Bonnie Booth, a little old lady (both true statements) in a rural Florida community. Life had surprises for me ... and one was this store! It's been a great 7 years as we started in 2009 with just a small offering for the crafts I made at the time. Creating swedish woven afghans was one of my main interests and the market at the time was limited for the personal labels I sought. I made my own and decided to offer them to others .... we've never looked back and now those labels are what we specialize in. I've eyesight in only one eye now and many of my artistic pursuits became a thing of the past. I've always been drawn to computers, programs and finding ways to use them for artistic endeavors. As far back as the 1990's I cut fabric and printed on it with an inkjet to make doll faces for my handmade dolls. An easy application to make my own labels, the continued research, testing of machines, software, programs, techniques and market have given us an enjoyable outlet for creativity in the labels we create. With standard sizes available within listings, I'm not limited to size except for the constraints of the sheet of fabric. Custom sizing labels for someone is often requested and easy enough to offer.

I am not a graphic designer and don't claim to be. However, using a submitted logo from a buyer and adding their text in a way that helps them to personalize their label feels so good when I send a proof to them and they love it. Their vision takes life and I had a part in that!!!! It may be the individual crafter, the event organizer or the small business person that contacts me for their needs. As long as I am still able to create for them and their ideas come to life, I'm a happy bee!

Even the smallest quantity of labels ordered, still get the same attention at affordable prices. Retired now and visually impaired, it isn't about making money for me, it's about still doing something that is worthwhile and has an added value to someone in what I do. It has been thrilling to read the great feedback, receive the personal thank you cards and photos ... even gifts from buyers. I have made several friends from a simple transaction which is amazing! Our buyers return often as they need to and it is always like an old friend dropped by.

I love taking pictures of the finished orders and post them on the internet for others to see. If time permits me to, for those who have an internet selling venue, I try to post pictures of their labels and give them a hyperlink to their space. They are free to use or share that photo for their needs. My way of giving back.

Hope I can continue in creating these labels for a long time to come. As long as eyesight and health allow. Until then, I wish each of you well in your pursuits .... "it" can be done as long as you want it to .... you just have to work at it and love it!

Where will we go from here? Heaven only knows.

Imposed early retirement, my limited eyesight gave way to a whole new view of the world. It may only be with one eye now, but my view is on you, and I like what I see.

Frequently asked questions

How to relay the content I need on the label.

Contact Shop Owner (that's me) first and tell me what you would like, or at time of order you may enter the information into the Notes to Seller/Notes from Buyer section. If you have an image, you may attach it there. Please ensure that it is a high quality/compression file. A larger size image is better, please do not use thumbnails.

There isn't a place to enter my needs, how do I do that?

What listing do I need to order?

All shop items are listed in groups by size. i.e. 1" x 2". Each listing has both a sew on version, an iron on version and multiple quantities available. The same size may have various names for business reasons. The size will determine the quantity/yield available for each listing.

How quickly will I receive my labels?

The POLICY is to ship within 10 business days after order and proof approval. I strive to process and ship much sooner than that, but life does happen. The actual delivery of labels is dependent upon the shipping provider. All orders are shipping first class USPS (unless another option is chosen) and have tracking information provided. Delays by shipping provider will not be considered for refund for late shipping.

I have an image that I saved from the internet, can you use it?

This is a very tender and legal area. Please do not ask me to use an image that you do not have legal rights to use. I will not knowingly use an image that is trademarked, copyrighted or belongs to someone else. Your submission of an image must be one that you (or I) have the legal/commercial rights to reproduce and with that, you are giving me the rights to do so on your labels.

What quantity of labels will I receive?

The quantity is dependent upon the size of the label versus the available space on a sheet of fabric. Listings have been created with the requested sizes and the yield available for many different standard requests. Custom sizing is available and I will gladly respond to you what the yield would be for your custom size.

Will the label edges fray or are they finished?

Every label has a high quality webbing attached for specific applications. This webbing binds the fibers, reducing future fraying with normal usage. They are not "finished" in the normal terms.

Can you use something different that the default font?

Of course! Each listing has several pictures (5 total) that will show you additional font choices. Just scroll through the pictures to see what is available to you.
