Heather and OneLoveDiaper co. make beautiful products. We love our WI2 and wool wrap cover. They are beautiful, work just as described, and have a perfectly slim fit. We use them over flats, prefolds and fitted diapers. Heather was incredibly patient with me while I asked her soooo many questions. The wraps are extremely well made and in fact our daughter (14 months) loves them as well. We have a bulkier wool wrap cover in rotation from another vendor, and when we put that other cover on her, she just hates it, she rips if off, but if we put on the OneLoveDiaper co. wrap, she doesn't fuss. :) These are beautifully made. I highly recommend.
Organic Cloth Diapers, Lovingly Crafted at Home...
We are a small, family run business striving to create beautiful, natural products for babies and children. All our diapers are lovingly made at home. My home is my center. I homeschool my two older children, work from home, attempt to grow my own food and herbs in our backyard vegetable garden, raise chickens for eggs, dairy goats for milk, and gave birth to our 3rd and 4th children at home.
I am a mom and wife, first and foremost. My lifelong dream was to be a mother, and I am so proud of my four wonderful, smart, creative, amazing children. I am also a certified birth doula, childbirth educator, photographer, and artist. My husband is a pilot in the United States Marine Corps, which means our scenery is often changing! When he's not flying helicopters he is building things on our micro-farm or helping me balance the books for the diaper business (not my favorite thing to do!). When my husband is done serving, we dream of retiring from the military life and finding a quiet homestead in the mountains to raise our family. Perhaps One Love Diaper Co. will help us to achieve this!
I love to create things and I love cloth diapers! I have been designing and sewing diapers since 2006. My most recent passion is for organic materials and wool.
Our two youngest children have been diapered in organic cotton and wool soakers/covers since birth and I cannot get over what an incredible diapering material wool is! It is incredibly easy to use and care for, not to mention natural, breathable, and naturally antibacterial. I cloth diapered my older children as well, but in synthetic materials (PUL, microfiber terry, and microfleece).
I have been surprised and amazed, though I really should not be, to find that natural fibers (cotton and wool) are easier to clean, stink free, more absorbent, and way more waterproof than synthetics. Wool is so amazing! It is exciting to see cloth diapers going mainstream but I wish more CDing parents knew about the wonders of wool, it is truly the perfect diapering material!
Since opening this business in 2012 I have roped a dear friend into helping with the sewing! Becky and I met when I was her doula during the birth of her son. She is a fantastic seamstress (she's a perfectionist!!) and wonderful friend. She now sews many of our products in her home while her little one is sleeping!
