One Man One Shed
Hi!
Back in July 2014 I thought it would be a lovely touch to create some ‘spread the love’ vintage knives to go with some homemade chutney at our rustic wedding reception. It was my first experience of ‘hand stamping’ and looking back, the quality was terrible but nonetheless our guests were extremely complimentary.
Now, 5 years, over a million strikes of the hammer, two children and a significant increase in quality later, One Man One Shed is a thriving creative endeavour I am happy to call not only a job but a thoroughly enjoyable hobby.
I only work with cutlery that is in the very finest condition, something my children are getting incredibly good at spotting during our many antique “spoon shopping” trips!
Choosing to work with antique materials is certainly a challenge but there is something so magical about bringing unloved items destined for landfill back to beautiful items that families are going to treasure for years to come.
I try to keep my shop uncluttered with a minimal amount of listings so it’s easier to navigate for you. If there is something you want that you can’t see listed please just get in touch. I’m usually very prompt in replying to messages and have a huge collection of cutlery ranging from cake slices to tea strainers and everything in between.
Thank you for your love and support.
Sam
